In South Africa it is compulsory to have a driver’s licence in order to operate a vehicle on any South African road alone. You may either apply for a Light Motor vehicle (LMV), Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) or motorcycle licence. The LMV and HMV are commonly known as code 8 and code 10 or code 14, respectively. See “Our Rides” for descriptions. In order to obtain the drivers licence you need to pass the practical driving test. This test consists of a yard test and a road test. At Easy Way Driving School we have our own Traffic Department styled practice grounds where our clients can practice the yard test. Plus, we teach our clients on the most common test routes. This better prepares our clients for their Driver’s Licence test.
